Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma has received a boost to his gubernatorial bid after Seme elders endorsed him for another term.

During a press conference at Wangarot on Friday, the elders vowed to lead Ranguma's campaigns in the constituency.

They said Ranguma's government has rolled out many projects in the sub-county unlike the era during which Nyong'o was area MP.

"We have witnessed the construction of modern ECD classrooms and employment of numerous ECD tutors which had not been seen before," Oiro said.

They also stated that the region has seen construction of a modern hospital at Lolwe.

"This stands tall among the ones Nyong’o boasts of having built during his tenure as Kisumu Rural MP for over 20 years."

"Hanging on the facts we have stated, we wholeheartedlysupport Ranguma for a second term as governor," Orwa added.
