She claimed the governor had taken over her working space following the partitioning of her office.

She said Ranguma was frustrating her by dividing her office space to accommodate his political advisors.

Ruth claimed her boss was planning to evict her from office.

"Why else would he turn my boardroom into two offices to accommodate his political advisors Phillip Obiero and Grace Jobita?” she asked.

She claimed the move aims at undermining her.

Ruth, who is ODM party leader Raila Odinga's younger sister plans to vie for the seat of governor in Kisumu County in August.

She has had a frosty relationship with Ranguma since 2013.

Sources say the county government lacks space to accommodate staff.

County Director of Administration Titus Omanyi said Ruth’s office has not been subdivided.

“We have a challenge of office space, forcing us to make rooms for various officers by subdividing the newly created offices and existing ones,” Omanyi said as quoted by the Star.
