[Photo: Jack Ranguma]Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma joined the Muslim community in Kisumu as they mark the end of their fast, Idd-Ul-Fitr, at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground.Kenyan Muslims have joined the rest of the world in marking the 30 days of the holly month of Ramadan, even as the official celebrations in the country were moved to Monday 26, June. This is because the last day fell on a Sunday (today).As he prayed with them, Ranguma urged them to pray for peace as the country approaches the general elections.The governor who seeks re-election as an Independent Candidate, further called on the Muslim community in Kisumu, to actively participate in the electoral process for growth and development of the county and the entire nation.
