Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma visited traders who were affected following a fire outbreak Jua Kali. 

He assured them his administration will reconstruct the damaged stalls and partly support the victims financially to continue their businesses. 

He also asked the traders to embrace safety measures to curb such fire incidents, and affirmed his government's commitment to ensuring fire incident's are addressed immediately. 

The governor further visited Kaloleni - Shauri Moyo ward, wher he interacted with locals, asking them to re-elect him for a second term. 

''The people say Kisumu must continue moving forward and must not be left in the hands of those who had failed her over the years,'' the ODM governor said, Monday.

''The signals of victory in the upcoming ODM nominations continue to become clearer. The turnout continues to grow bigger . The attendees continue to express more enthusiasm and optimism,'' he added.
