Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma has revealed the real reason why Senator Anyang Nyong'o is allegedly being imposed on Kisumu residents.

According to Ranguma who was speaking on Monday in Kisumu, Nyong'o was being forced to vie in order to clear bodaboda riders from the town.

"I understand he is coming to remove the waste in town. The waste is boda boda riders and hawkers,” he said.

Ranguma however promised to ensure they only leave after industries that collapsed are revived to provide alternative jobs.

Ranguma has in the past said that he will explore his options before making a decision pon the next move.
