Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma is set to visit South West Kisumu Ward to tour various development projects tomorrow.
Ward representative Joseph Abiola said the tour is part of a wider plan by the governor to visit various projects in the entire county.
Abiola said the tour will give the governor an opportunity to see how development has been carried out in the ward with public funds.
He said he has managed to utilise public funds in a proper way noting that the tour is one way to see his effort since he was elected.
“I want to invite anybody from the county to be part of the tour and see how I have managed to put into good use public money,” he said.
Speaking to the press in Kisumu ahead of the tour tomorrow, Abiola said the governor will also find an opportunity to meet students who are benefiting from the county bursary education fund.
He said bursary has been distributed without any favour to the deserving students in the ward.
Abiola added that Ranguma will visit a number of roads that have been opened up in the ward.
He said his tour will also entail visiting hospitals, schools and water projects in the ward.
