Nyando MP Fred Outa has told Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma to implement projects across the county.

Outa said the county is under-developed yet over Sh9 billion is annually disbursed to the county for development. He said roads and health care are now in the county government yet they are in pathetic condition.

The MP said there are a number of health centres that were constructed by CDF in the constituency and the county government has failed to post medical personnel to such centres.

“The county government must ensure that drugs are in our health facilities to cushion our people from travelling long distances to seek medical attention in Kisumu,” he said.

Outa said roads are impassable during rainy seasons and motorcyclists are feeling the pain in the villages.

Speaking on Friday at Ranjira Mixed Secondary school in his constituency when he launched the construction of a school laboratory worth Sh1.5 million, Outa said the county government must work for the people.

He said right now, four months down the line since ECD teachers were employed, they have not been paid. Outa told Kisumu County Assembly majority leader Malin Olero to put checks and balances on the executive.

He said Olero should not lean towards the executive yet her people are missing development that was meant to uplift their lives.

“The public will turn against you majority leader if you lean on the executive side and their issues are not being addressed,” he said.
