Tuju through a social media post, asked the politicians to concentrate on serving the people of Kenya instead of discussing the 2022 politics which he said was still far away. He added that the 2022 debate was pre-mature and that it does nobody any good. Tuju also noted that Jubilee made promises to Kenyans which they should focus on delivering them instead of politicking. "The pre-mature 2022 debate does nobody any good, I would like to urge elected Jubilee leaders to take this time to serve the electorate instead of talking about things whose time is years away. We made pledges, it is time to deliver not politic," Tuju tweeted on Sunday. His remarks came hours after deputy president William Ruto cautioned Jubilee leaders against discussing about positions including 2022 and asked them to focus single mindedly on delivering the party's manifesto voted for by Kenyans.
