Nairobi senator Mike Sonko has moved to social media to commend and thank his key rival Evans Kidero.
Speaking on Wednesday after Kidero heeded his call and repaired a nasty pothole on Mombasa Road, Sonko thanked the Nairobi governor together with KENHA Director General Mudinia for helping fix the mess.
"The deadly pothole at Vision plaza on Mombasa road has finally been fixed," he said.
"My special thanks go to my friend Governor Dr. Evans Kidero and KENHA Director General MR. MUDINIA for sending their combined teams to fix the said pothole on time," he added.
Sonko will be battling out for the Nairobi gubernatorial office against Kidero in the August 8 elections.
Others in the race are independent candidates Miguna Miguna and former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth who decamped from Jubilee after what he termed as shambolic primaries.
