NASA flag-bearer Raila Odinga has endorsed Wiper's Patrick Makau in the Mavoko MP race instead of the ODM party hopeful.

Raila said the two NASA parties should never field candidates for same Ukambani MP and MCA seats so as to avoid division.

He warned that this could make winning easier for Jubilee or Governor Alfred Mutua's Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC).

Kalonzo Musyoka and I are inseparable. We do not want divisions in Ukambani."

“We as ODM party will talk with Wiper so that we do not divide votes,” he added when he addressed a rally at Mavoko Stadium in Athi River town on Saturday.

He told Mavoko ODM candidate Michael Mutuku to step down for Makau in solidarity.

“We will talk to the ODM candidate so that we support Makau."

Raila promised to give Mutuku a job in his government after taking power from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He also endorsed Wiper’s Machakos gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti and the ODM Athi River Township MCA hopeful Tyrus Omondi.
