Siaya  Governor Cornel Rasanga has threatened to sue lawmakers from the county who have accused him of embezzling county funds.

Speaking in Rarieda Sub-County on Sunday, Rasanga said that he is able to account for all the money spent in the county government since his election.

This after Gem lawmaker Jakoyo Midiwo and his Rarieda counterpart Nicholas Gumbo accused Rasanga of embezzling county funds.

 “Gumbo has the chance to take me to court if he feels I have embezzled funds. I’m so shocked that he prefers discussing me with the electorates during his campaigns all over the county,” claimed the agitated governor.

He stated that he had already addressed the matter with his lawyer.
