Judith Wandera, a 24-year old Kisumu woman was on Wednesday sentenced for 15 years in jail for defiling a “minor” (16 year old boy).
The Kisumu Court heard that the woman had defiled the boy on various occasions.
However, Miss Wandera pleaded innocent claiming that she couldn’t tell the exact age of the boy according to the situations they met in.
“We met at a drinking joint one evening of April 2016 in Kondele, where he even offered to buy me drinks. We exchanged phone contacts and started dating,” she said.
Her sentence elicited a lot of reactions. Here are some of them:
