Vice chairperson Consolata Nkatha Bucha Maina, Margaret Mwachanya and Paul Kurgat resigned on Monday morning, citing lack of faith in Chairman Wafula Chebukati.

Kenyans on Facebook reacted over the matter, saying:

Jackson Omari

They were appointed a few months ago, & have quite a number of years to serve. No mentally sound Kenyan would leave such a lucrative post just like that.. They are not Akombe. Someone very powerful has obviously given them some guarantees so that they can forment a crisis in the commission with a view of dealing with Chebukati once and for all.. The 'revisit' has started.

It is not lack of trust...you people are being haunted for what you did during the election, rem kivuitu.........Apombe new and washed her hands before the dumage ,she now doing welll and she even got a promotion.

Godwin Buxton

The spirit of our departed brother #ChrisMsando doing wonders right from heaven. Let them have no peace in their life. Useless maggots.

Isaiah Janabi

Mama please send a signal and take those three IEBC commissioners to be with Total Man in Hell. Mama don't forget Chiloba too and make sure they see Musando in Heaven as they go to Hell. Mama come for them the soonest to keep Kivuiti company as it's said he seems to so bored as He wait for his long waited judgement in Hell. Mama here our prayers

Erick Mabiria

I know why they resign,He refused to side with their infested minds,Chebukati trudge on,the strongest is he who stands alone...and oh,they already bungled the elections, its mission accomplished.

Wilson Kyalo

This resignation needs to be stopped, we investgate them first. Am joining dots from Akombe's statement on her resignation and I think these guys were source of issues.

In fact I, together with soooooo many Kenyans, qualify for the iebc job that they just left. Where do we send applications to? That's a job opportunity.
