The country's largest gaming firm, SportPesa, has returned to the sponsorship of local football in Kenya.

SportPesa will be the main sponsors for Gor Mahia FC and AFC Leopards.

last week, Gor Mahia found it hard to acquire tickets to South Africa due to financial strains. It was the Sonko Rescue Team which came IN for their aid. 

SportPesa move to sponsor the Kenya Premier league will also result in the league renamed to SportPesa Premier League
