This is a misconception that has left many of them unemployed. Millions of youths with degrees from prestigious universities like Kenyatta University, University of Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture &Technology, Machakos University and Moi University among others have been left jobless.

These youths do not want to think and renovate. The percentage of youths who want to become farmers after college is worrying. Instead of sitting back and weighing job options youths should embrace farming to rescue themselves from abject poverty.

Many people have made a fortune from agriculture. It is not mandatory to work in an office before people can know that you went to school.

Research reports have indicated that agriculture is four times more effective when it comes to wealth creation than any other sector in the nation. As you shy away from agriculture a young man somewhere is already making a lot of money from the comfort of his home.

Youths should stop complaining about the lack of job opportunities in the country. People do not go to school to get jobs but to create jobs. It is high time youths thought of becoming job creators than job seekers.

The government cannot provide all everyone with his or her dream job.
