The county government of Uasin Gishu is set to start the recruitment of county askaris throughout the 30 wards within the county, the recruitment which will be done at the location level will be free and fair to all. 

Speaking during the activity on Monday at Kimumu High School, the chairman of the public service board Joseph Tanui said that they will take the initiative to ensure that there is equal intake in each ward

“The recruitment exercise will be free and fair and we will consider each gender and ethnic group without any bias,” said the chairman.
