Former leaders of parties dissolved to form the Jubilee party has accused a clique of activists of posing as Jubilee officials.
Addressing media in Nakuru on Tuesday led by John Kamama, former PNU chairman, the accusers claimed there is a group of 'impostors, self seekers or power brokers' who want to 'con' Nakuru residents.
“There are some impostors who are out to confuse citizens in Nakuru county and as collective former chairpersons of dissolved parties in Nakuru, we want to state here that if the impostors have any problem within their former parties, they should consult their former chairperson for advice,”said Kamama.
The former PNU chair who was accompanied by Harrison Muiruri (former Nakuru TNA chair), Ibrahim Ndiwiga of UDF and Ambrose Ngare of Ford People, which are affiliate to Jubilee Party, said that Jubilee Party was formed by 13 parties and thus no single former party could talk on behalf of the Jubilee Party neither can a single former party claim to be Jubilee.
On the recent wrangles at the former TNA offices in Nakuru, the three said clear leadership directions will come from Nairobi.
“There is nopPower vacuum in Nakuru and therefore as the former chairpersons we are waiting for further directives from the party leader His Excellency President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto,” said Kamama.
