School heads across the country have called on the government to change the University admission cut-off points from C+ to C plain. They argue that the review will accommodate more students as a huge chunk of those who sat for the KCSE examinations this year did not attain the C+ cut-off points.James Okoyo, Ramba Boys Principal, said the review would underscore the state's commitment to ensuring increased transition.''This matter is subject to debate. I think it is high time the government reduced the university entry grade to ensure that more students join universities and tertiary institutions,'' Mr. Okoyo said according to the Daily Nation.
