National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has challenged Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to account monies channelled to his foundation "The Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation."
Speaking in Garissa on Thursday, Duale further cautioned Kalonzo against dragging Deputy President William Ruto to his tribulations.
“I want to tell Kalonzo that you have misappropriated funds meant for the vulnerable. You were given money by the Chinese to construct schools in Makueni and Kitui counties, but instead pocketed it,” he said.
“Carry your own cross and stop dragging and soiling the Deputy President’s name in your anguish. I wonder how Ruto comes in, unless you have substantial evidence linking him," he added.
The NGO Coordination Board has since frozen the foundation's bank accounts and suspended its operations in the country.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Mr Musyoka linked the woes that has faced his organization to DP Ruto, observing that the happenings are politically instigated.
