Kiala said that Cord will win the 2017 elections and send Jubilee packing if Ukambani locals and other Cord supporters across the country apply for Ids and register as voters.

Kiala said that it is the responsibility of every citizen above 18 years to get an ID.

The deputy governor said that locals will get the change they have been yearning for if they get IDs and register as voters.

“Ukambani  and Kenya in general, will get the change it has been yearning for if every citizen gets an ID and votes,” he said in Machakos on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kiala has urged locals not to be confused by the cheap politics being perpetuated by Governor Alfred Mutua.

Kiala a critic of Mutua claimed that the governor has no interests of the locals.

“You (locals) should not be deceived by the governor because he does not care for you,” he said.

Kiala urged locals to support opposition led by Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula saying it has a greater vision for Kenyans.

On Sunday during a prayer rally in Machakos former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka hit out at governor Mutua.

Kalonzo accused Mutua of lacking respecting to the people who shaped him politically.

Kalonzo dared Mutua to quit Wiper party and stop giving threats.
