They have accused riders of speeding, something that has been a threat to the safety of their children.

Speaking at Sarang'ombe area, the residents threatened to beat up riders speeding if they will not change.

"Our children have been hit by over speeding motorbikes. NTSA should intervene and regulate the speed at which riders should drive at. It is just yesterday a child was hit by a motorbike," said Peter Siemi.

"As NTSA is carrying out a crack down on matatus, they should also ensure over speeding motorbike riders are arrested," he added.

Siemi noted that the state of the slum's interior roads is not good and riders should ride keenly to avoid unnecessary accidents on the roads where young children walk and even play.
