Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has called on the Luhya Community to reject Jubilee during the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking on Saturday during a funeral service to governor Ken Lusaka's uncle in Bungoma, the Ford Kenya Party leader accused the Jubilee adminstration of neglecting the Western Kenya region in matters development, citing disparity in infrastructure in the area and perceived Jubilee Party strongholds of Rift Valley and Mt. Kenya.
‘’We as the people of western have gotten nothing in this corrupt and tribal jubilee government who are fooling as that they have done much but if you walk here in western and go to compare with Rift valley and central you will be shocked at how much development has been done there,’’ he noted.
"If you think am lying just go here at Turbo in a place called Jua kali you will get nice tarmac ked road leading up to DP President’s house but here in western its totally strange," he added.
The lawmaker called on the locals to back NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga's candidature, observing that the fomer Prime Minister has the community's interests at heart.
