Hi Uncle
I have a boyfriend and I love him. He loves me too. We have been together for two years and he has done for me everything a man should do for his woman. Moreso, he has introduced me to his parents out of his own volition and he is also very free with my family.
The problem I have realised of late is that he likes looking at other women whenever we go out together. Apart from the fact that I would personally loathe the act, I also feel the embarrassment especially when we are in a big crowd because I feel people looking at us as he does so.
What should I do? Please help because I love him so much and I don't want to lose him.
Emma
Hi Emma
Your problem is a small one. If your boyfriend is giving you all that a man should give his woman, there is no reason you should be worried over where he looks or whom he looks at. His looking at other women and remaining dutiful to you is enough evidence that what you have is a real man who appreciates God’s handiwork. Hasn’t he taken you to his parents, and do you know what it takes for a man to introduce a woman to the parents? And by the way, imagine if he was looking at other men!
A man looks at other women the way he can look at a dull building in town. It doesn't mean anything beyond the look. Otherwise the two years would not have elapsed.
Instead of worrying, cook him a good meal after the walk and talk about if he will prefer a civil marriage or traditional one.
