Patients at the Coast General Hospital are happy lot after the management allowed them to watch world's biggest football event, the world cup.
The hospital administration installed television sets to stream the action live from Russia where the event started on June 14.
Patients who are football fans but not in critical conditions mark the time for their favourite matches and enjoy together at the hospital.
Those who spoke on condition of anonymity thanked Governor Ali Hassan Joho for the installation of the TVs, saying the matches help them to recover since it keeps their minds busy.
The County Government of Mombasa renovated various sections of the hospital to give it a new look.
Joho's administration procured modern equipments that was assembled at the hospital.
They include patient beds, orthopedic beds, baby cots, stretchers among others.
