African Brotherhood Church's Archbishop Dr.Timothy Ndambuki has asked courts to release the two Kikuyu musicians who sang the controversial 'Ikamba' song demeaning the Kamba community.
Addressing the press in Machakos town on Wednesday, Ndambuki said the Kamba community no longer holds grudge against the two musicians and they should be set free.
Ndambuki said Kenyans should embrace peace and unity just as President Uhuru Kenyatta and the opposition leader Raila Odinga did.
“We are doing good as a country, peace and harmony is prevailing and we can't trade that for anything," Ndambuki said.
The clergy said the dialogue between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru was an answered prayer to the church.
“We the men in robe have been praying for dialogue and since now it has come to pass we are thankful to God," Ndambuki said.
Ndambuki spoke after the clergy met with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka at ABC Church headquarters in Machakos town where Kalonzo disclosed that he Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi will meet President Uhuru Kenyatta once he jets back from Cuba.
