Kenya Power has issued the latest update on the token generation system.In a message sent to customers on Tuesday, Kenya Power stated that the system had been restored after four days of failure.

“Dear customer, further to our earlier communication, we wish to inform you that prepaid services have been fully restored. We apologize for inconvenience caused,” read the message.

In a message send on Monday, KP urged customers to buy tokens from banking halls countrywide.

Customers were unable to purchase tokens through their mobile money wallets since Saturday afternoon.

Frustrated customers took to social media to express their anger with the power supplier.However, KP Has not revealed the cause of the outage.
