A team lead by Rahma Mohamed Guliye, a socio-political commentator, and activist, on Saturday, held a fundraising event at South C Bomas after the appeals for help by a mother named Fartun circulated on the media for an urgent payment of her husband's bill that stands to 8million.
Fartun said in an interview with RTN that her husband suffered from brain blood clot and got admitted to Aghakhan hospital in Nairobi for an immediate treatment.
Rahma Guliye alias Boqorada Affey during an interview on call who graced that fruitful event that generated 7.5million shillings said and I quoted
"It takes humanity to deliver services at no cost that require's an alert only"
Hon Aden Duale who is the Majority Leader was the guest of honour though he didn't appear physically his due to what was called avoidable circumstances, but he sent his contribution.
H.E Governor of Tana River County Hon. Godana Dado, Hon Ali Wario MP Bura, Hon Ali Hashaka MP Garsen, Senator Juma Wario and Said Buya MP Galole among others came to take part in standing with the suffering son from their county swiftly after his wife confirmed that her husband was from Bangal ward in Bura constituency.
Hon. Ali Fayya Wario who is the sitting mp sent his endless blessings and thanked wholeheartedly to Mrs. Rahma Guliye for her self-humanity which he termed it as a precious gift from God that everyone is not blessed with.
Yussuf who is the patient and the husband to Fartun will be discharged from the Agakhan hospital by today midday which Rahma and team together with the leaders are expected to settle his bill.
