MultiChoice Kenya’s DStv have lowered their monthly subscription fees in what they say is a response to subscriber’s needs and hard economic times.
The Premium Package will now go at Sh8 180, down from previous Sh9 400.
The Compact Plan Package subscribers will enjoy a Sh200 drop, going at Sh3 550 per month and down from the previous Sh3 750 while the Family Bouquet will retail at Sh1 900, down from Sh2 150.
“MultiChoice focus is committed to being a consumer-centric business that is sensitive to our customers’ needs,” said MultiChoice East Africa’s regional director Stephen Isaboke.
“As such, we have taken into account the current economic environment and financial pressures that our customers are facing and are responding to these factors," he added.
However, the cheapest Access Package will remain unchanged as subscribers will still part with Sh1,050 every month.
The new rates will be effective from November 1.
