[Photo: hivisasa.com]Religious leaders in Uasin Gishu County have urged all aspirants in the August 8, elections to accept the results, even if they do not win.Led by branch CIPK chairman Sheikh Abubakar Bini and chairman of Gospel Ministers, Bishop Wilson Kurui, they said, this will enhance peace and cohesion."If you are defeated please accept and move on.This country is more important than an individual," said Bini in Eldoret town, Monday."Why should one person cause violence because he/she has been defeated.As religions leaders we will not allow that to happen," Bishop Kurui added. They however, urged IEBC to adequately prepare for the election to avoid a repeat of the mistakes witnessed in the justconcluded party primaries."IEBC should learn from the party primaries and conduct a free and fair elections that will be accepted by both parties," noted Kurui."Any aspirants found propagating violence should be barred from contesting in the August polls," said Bini.
