Uasin Gishu County religious leaders have urged the IEBC to ensure Kenyans vote on October 26 as scheduled.

They said Kenyans were tired of mark timing.

"As religious leaders we want the elections done once and for all. Kenyans are tired with the ongoing push and pull for conditions for free elections," said AIC Kenya presiding Bishop Silas Yego in Eldoret town, Wednesday.

"The hard-line stance between Jubilee and NASA parties has affected the development of the country since investors have run away. Kenyans cannot continue to suffer at the expense of politicians who are fighting,” added Uasin Gishu County chairman of Gospel Ministers Bishop Wilson Kurui.

They called upon NASA and Jubilee leaders to stop sideshows and embrace dialogue.

"We want the two leaders to sit on a round table and solve the matter once and for all to solve this stalemate. For how long will the country stay in a campaign period," noted AIC Kenya presiding Bishop Silas Yego.

"I call upon Kenyans to embrace peace and live as brothers and sisters as the country is experiencing high political pressure,” added Uasin Gishu County chairman of gospel ministers Bishop Wilson Kurui.
