Top comedian Erick Omondi is a man on a mission. And this time he is not on a mission to crack our ribs but rather a different path that will surprise both of us.
Last week, the celebrated comedian shared a moving post on his Facebook page about how someone special helped him develop his acting talent and set him up for greatness.
Remember Esther Arunga?
The once celebrated screen siren that wowed us during prime time news? things started going south for the girl that we once admired in 2013 when she met her controversial husband Quincy Timberlake and they later relocated to Australia.
Come June of 2014, and Kenyans were shocked when news broke all over the Australian Press that Quincy Timberlake had murdered his first born son, Sinclair Timberlake, in the house that they lived in with Esther.
Now Erick Omondi wants to bring Esther Arunga back home.
In his long post, Ericko is calling on all Kenyans to join hands and help Esther come back home.
"I can confidently say I knew Esther Arunga, she was a friend and a mentor...A woman who loved God and cherished people around her. Soft spoken, harmless, Joyful and cheerful. One thing happened followed by another and we soon lost hope and trust in Esther. But hope is never lost, we must hope against hope. Let's bring back our Esther, back to Kenya, back to her country, back to her family...even back to our Screens. I believe!!! We can!!! YES WE CAN!!!, bring back our girl," reads part of the post
The post has so far been shared more than 1000 times on Facebook with Kenyans willing to assist bring the once celebrated news girl back on our screens.
