Stakeholders have been challenged to remember the boy child when they come up with measures of rescuing underage girls from streets.
According to Kisii county cultural director Obino Nyambane, it will be safer to have measures in place which will rescue boys and girls from the streets.
Nyambane who was speaking at a Kisii hotel during the launching of Angaza Foundation which has set measures of rescuing the girl-child from streets, he also said that the boy child should be remembered.
“I would like to thank the founders of this foundation as we are going to have measures which will help our children my advice is that let us help our children from streets,” said Nyambane.
In addition, he challenged all stakeholders to know that they have a big role to play in rescuing children from the streets.
“Unless we as stakeholders come together and have measures in place which will help this young generation to come out from the streets,” added Nyambane.
Nyambane also said that they will influence all stakeholders to make sure that all goals are achieved.
