Health Services CeC in Kilifi County, Dr. Anisa Omar on Wednesday officially opened the Renal Dialysis unit at the Malindi Hospital.

The facility is one of the major steps the Department of Health, Kilifi county under the leadership of the Governor Amason Kingi has taken towards bettering health care in the county. 

Speaking at the opening, the CEC said that she plans to bridge the gap that exists in the emergency response of the county in regards to health services. 

Dr. Anisa said all doctors that were posted to Kilifi should move to Kilifi with immediate effect. 

She made it very clear that the health of the Kilifi people was paramount and if the doctors cannot or will not comply they should tender in their resignations
