Speaking during his Constituency tour on Thursday, Legislator Ngunjiri said that the road is in pathetic condition and called for its immediate repair.

Ngunjiri said that many locals have been inconvenienced by the poor state of the road and now wants the county to take responsibility of making sure it is repaired before late.

“The Nakuru government should move with speed and repair all roads in Bahati to enable farmers, business people to smoothly transport their commodities to markets,” urged Ngunjiri.

He indicated that poor infrastructure, especially roads, has kept away investors who would have pumped in development money in the Constituency.

Ngunjiri said that there is need for the government to come up with a plan and ensure that all roads are repaired and constructed to the require standards to avoid constant need to repair roads, which he says is very costly.

The Legislator further urged the county government to fast-track installation of street lights in Bahati Constituency as one way of boosting security, especially at night.

He said that street lights will encourage a 24 hour economy and further curb crime cases. Ngunjiri added that the county has enough resources that should be channeled to infrastructure development.

On the same note, the Legislator assured his Constituents that he will deliver all promises he made to them during his campaign time.

Ngunjiri said that he has developed a plan that will guide him to fulfil all the pledges made to his people before 2017 general election.
