Herman Manyora, a renowned socio-political analyst, has weighed in on the raging debate on the newly-released list of Cabinet Secretaries.
According to Mr. Manyora, the names that President Uhuru Kenyatta gave did not represent the best that the country has to offer.
Of deepest concern to him was the fact that the credentials of the cabinet nominees did not square with the roles that they were given.
''Let me tell you something, these people have just been given jobs to make a living. If you scrutinise the list, you will find out that the credentials of the CSs do not match with the roles that they are going to take in their respective ministries,'' Herman Manyora said in a local news programme yesterday after the names were released.
Manyora also faulted President Uhuru Kenyatta for giving jobs to CSs who did not do a particularly good job.
The move, he said, sends a wrong message to Kenyans.
