Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa has called on county government to repair roads under its jurisdiction to ease transportation.
Ichung’wa said most roads in the county are in poor state hence need for the county government to repair them.
Speaking at Kinoo Ward on Friday when handing over the CDF bursary to residents Ichung’wa said that the roads have run down and the county government should come out handy to assist residents.
He noted that he has already started repairing roads that fall under his constituency hence need for the county government to look at the roads which falls under its jurisdiction.
Ichung’wa expressed his concern with increasing number of carjacking in the streets of Kikuyu town due to the dilapidated roads.
The TNA law maker further called on residents to embrace Nyumba Kumi and Community Policing Unit to tame crimes in the region.
He further called on area OCPD Mathyeu Mutune to assist in security and be vigilant in taming the perpetrators who have been harassing residents.
