Mr Ronald Osumba, said that the fund is experiencing a low repayment rate of 65 per cent.

He also stated that 80 percent of the beneficiaries have not paid back entirely, causing their loans to be classified as non-recoverable assets.

In an interview with Citizen tv, the chairman expressed concern that if timely payments are not made, the revolving fund will stop operating.

The fund has initiated constituency level sensitization, to educate potential clients on where and how to access the loan.

He said that there are plans to make application forms available in Huduma Centers and on a mobile app.

Osumba further singled out various regions such as Eldoret and Limuru which are doing well in repayment.
