Former NTV managing editor Mr Linus Kaikai can now rest easy after Royal Media Services agreed to pay his Sh20 million mortgage and regular Sacco loans.
Sources at both the communication companies told Business today that the veteran journalist was awarded the loans by virtue that he was in senior position and was entitled to mortgage and a car loan as their retention policy.
Royal Media services have accepted to maintain Linus Kaikai as a consultant after orders from State House barred him from landing the job at the firm after the predecessor Farida Karonney joined the government. It is alleged that state house called the vice chairperson Purity Macharia and advised against hiring the veteran journalist.
