The Industrial Court has suspended the decision by the communications regulator to send its director general on a three-month compulsory leave.
The Communiction Authority boss, Francis Wangusi filed an affidavit in court brings to the light the issues between the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) and its parent ministry.
It puts down several cases of claimed interference requests for funds and self-interest among the CA board members as the main causes of all his troubles.
He went ahead to mention that he declined a request by the ICT Ministry on March 7, 2017 to pay Sh10 million to the Ajira Digital programme referring to it as an 'imaginary and dubious' off the budget project.
Putting together all his thoughts, he connects his problems to the yet to be launched establishment of a duplicate department of cyber security and e-commerce, which he was against and a request for Sh25 million contribution to the swearing-in ceremony of President Uhuru Kenyatta, which he did not pay attention to.
