Birir, who is a member and a moderator of Uasin Gishu County forum on Facebook, posted the pictures and captioned it “Mandago anafanya nini town iki submerg?? Which is loosely translated as "what is Governor Mandago doing when the town is already submerged by water?"

According to Korir A Tirtuk a resident of Eldoret town, the flooded building was under construction, behind Mount Kenya University opposite Vilma Plaza.

He noted that the building was flooded at the basement due to the ongoing rains.

The Facebook post, however, did not go down well with the residents of Uasin Gishu County who turned 'violent' online.

Here are some of the sampled comments from them,

Beatrice Jelimo Tarus was more concern on what he expected Governor Mandago to do with the water.

“Unataka Mandago akuje akunywe iyo maji? Loosely translated as, "so  you want Mandago to come and drink those water?”

Ken Timbilil Maasai –Yeye amedo… hiyo ni Baraka ya mvua sio susu...Loosely translated as that rain is a blessing, not urine.

Nickson Kiptoo who identified himself as Birir's schoolmate was concerned of the recent post by him saying he was shocked by his recent posts.

“mmmh …I can’t believe this! Samboriot Birir that only genius dude whom we schooled with, I think something serious in your brain has ruptured bro, seek medical intervention before you get worse!!! Serious, I think maybe someone is using your account or anything else. I have followed your posts and it is pathetic, you’re searching fame from absolutely wrong format…free advice watch your back."
