Nduru area residents have applauded the call for Kisii County to unite and have a common development agenda.
Led by Nduru Chief Mogosi Ondara the residents said that the community should unite so that they could benefit from the National government in terms of development, and avoid hate politics that weakened the community.
“We are happy that the CS was able to visit the area and look at the school ongoing projects and also gave his personal assist in the area, all leaders should just take in his advise and the county will be moving fowad at ease,” said Mogosi.
The information Communication and Technology Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Fred Matiang’i toured Nduru girls’ high school over the weekend. He took time to inspect infrastructure development in the institution The CS gave a personal donation of half a million Kenyan shillings to be put towards the construction of a computer laboratory and to purchase the 10,000 bricks for the school.
The CS also took time to warn leaders that they risked to negatively effect development if they continued to fight for selfish interests.
