Kitutu Masaba residents have challenged area member of Parliament Timothy Bosire to focus on development instead of his ODM party.

Bosire who was among the key point-men who organised OMD leader's Raila Odinga's visit to the region last week, has been challenged to initiate more development projects before the next general election instead of engaging in activities that do not improve residents lives.

The residents who spoke to this writer on Sunday at Gesima said priority should be given to projects before the leader tells them which  party to vote for in the 2017 elections.

Led by Timothy Nyangau, they said it is good for leaders to focus on development by completing the projects before the next polls.

“We are aware that next general election is fast approaching but we want leaders to complete the projects before they launching their re-election bids,” Nyang’au said.

He urged Bosire to focus on development before he starts campaigning for next year since they are the ones who will determine whether he will be re-elected or not.

On his part, David Ocharo said this is not the time for politicians to start campaigning, and worrying on who will win in 2017, but rather its time for development.

“This is not the time of holding party rallies. The score card is what we will use in electing leaders therefore I urge my fellow residents to make sure that they choose able leaders in the next general election,” said Ocharo.
