The locals are complaining of the poor state of the road which they said has been rendered impassable with the ongoing rains.

Speaking to this writer on Friday, the residents said that the poor state of the road has inconvenienced them.

“The road is impassable especially now that we are experiencing heavy rains,” said Cedric Njoroge, a resident.

Mr Njoroge said that the road is muddy and cannot be accessed by vehicles and bodaboda bikes.

“Our MP Mr Paul Koinange should  intervene and have this road repaired,” said Cecilia Muthoma, a vegetable vendor at Gachie market.

Bodaboda riders also complained of the poor state of the road saying it has hampered our business.

The locals urged the Kiambu government to urgently repair the road. The  residents also urged the government to repair on drainage system which they blamed for poor state of roads.
