Kisii county residents have been urged to ensure they elect visionary leaders who can spearhead development in the regions.
Speaking at Gianchere Friends Primary Special School at Keumbu Ward on Wednesday Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Richard Tong'i said that in the past year most of the voters in the region were being lured to vote for leaders they don’t want by being given small money.
The legislator said that better leadership will ensure that the region develops above all good leaders will ensure that they create jobs so that the current joblessness ends.
“Youths should stand up and ensure that they vote for great leaders and let no one tell you who to vote but decide by yourself by judging them by what they have done,” he added.
Tongi said that he will defend his seat in the upcoming elections by the Jubilee ticket and called upon all residents to show their support to the party that will rule so that they gain more from the government.
