Gilgil sub county administrator Erick Ogada has cautioned residents against people allegedly issuing fake land title deeds.

Briefing the media on Thursday, the sub county official said that he has received information on the alleged issuance of fake title deeds.

He asked residents who are transacting land business to be extra careful of the people buying and selling land.

“We are investigation claims that some people are issuing fake title deeds to unsuspecting land buyers,” he said.

The sub county administrator on the same note warned land grabbers saying their days are numbered.

He stated that they are doing an inventory of all the land that belongs to the government.

“Land grabbers should know that their days are numbered, we will not spare them,” he warned.

Ogada indicated that the sub county is committed to serve the people. He asked the people to present their issues and ideas to the sub county administration.

The official noted that no one will be turned away and that their focus is to see the people get quality services.
