The victims of last week's Nginduri illicit brew incident continue to be laid to rest in the area, with residents complaining that the government has done nothing so far.
According to local leaders led by TNA Secretary General in Kiambu County Solomon Ndung'u and Reverend James Muraguri of Kiamumbi ACK Church, the culprits are known but no arrest has been made so far.
"NACADA Chairman John Mututho was here last week and we are yet to see any action taken," said Ndung'u.
"No compensation to the victims has been made. Now we are just wondering whether there will be any prosecution and the culprits are well known," added Ndung’u.
Reverend Muraguri said the future is dull if young people continue dying as it is the current case in different areas.
"We need a lot of prayers especially here in Kiambu because this brews mean doom for us. A flock without young ones never spreads," said Muraguri.
They have now asked the County commissioner to bring the culprits to book.
They were speaking on Wednesday at Kiamumbi during the burial of one of the victims who died last week.
