Residents of Pemwes, Kiondoo market and its environs now want Nakuru Pentecostal Church (NPC) to control the loud music played in the church at night.
A group of women neigbouring the church claim loud music emanates from the worship premises on almost daily basis, and regular ‘Keshas’ during the night are affecting and distabilising their families.
Rosemary Wanjiku, who lives right next to the church, said the noise is becoming excessive, adding that even candidates doing their exams have found the environment unconducive for their revision.
She urged the church pastor and its administration to control the music especially during the night.
"I want to urge the pastor to control music in his church to give students and pupils time to study, it is affecting people in the area more so during the night, you cannot find peace of mind,” said Wanjiku.
The Church caretaker Allan Azenga successfully cooled down the women and promised to deliver their grievances immediately to the administration, saying the situation will be solved.
