Food vendors along Kisii-Kisumu road have vacated due to heavy dust from moving machines on the road. 

These complaints come a day after the Kisii County contractors worked on the Kisii-Kisumu road leaving loose soils that turned out to be a serious problem to the residents. "We are only wondering where to take our businesses because our customers have stopped eating our food because of the heavy dust from moving vehicles on this road," said Ms Damaris Machogu.Residents are also complaining that both their water and clothes have been affected by the heavy dust from the road to their homesteads. The residents are now urging the County to make necessary arrangements to ensure the dust is controlled to allow to give the businesses an easy time."On behave of all the residents I am urging our County boss to ensure that he coordinate with his team to ensure they control the dust," said one of the traders.
