Confirming the incident, area Chief Reuben Omondi said the deceased identified as Joyce Chemeli is likely to have been raped before being murdered by unknown people.
“We have the body and from the look of things it is likely that the deceased was raped before being murdered and the body dumped,” said the chief.
The local administrator added that already police have commenced investigations into the murder.
