Hells Gate ward residents have threatened to stage a demonstration over the poor state of roads in the area.

The residents, who include boda-boda riders and Matatu operators, said Warothe has neglected the development of roads in the area.

Mainly drawn from Karagita area of Naivasha, the residents gave MCA Warothe Kuria one week to improve the state of roads failure to which they will demonstrate.

One resident Joel Kamau said “We are forced to take our motorbikes to garage every day due to the poor state of the roads,” Joel Kamau.

Jane Wangui said: “We have been paying taxes to Nakuru county government, where do they take all these money? We are being neglected.”

Efforts to reach the area MCA were futile as his phone was off.
